Paul Carrack is on of the best British singer-songwriters of all time. The British all rounder,
who through the years built a successful solo career with real evergreens like I Need You
and Dedicated, is also mainly known as a band member of Mike & Mechanics and from his
many collaborations with among others The Eagles, Elton John, The Smiths, Roxy Music,
BB King, Simply Red, Roger Waters and Eric Clapton.
Carrack, also called “The Man with the Golden Voice”, got fame mid seventies as a lyric
writer and band member of the pubrock-formation Ace. Next to that he’s a session musician
with the Pretenders, The Smiths and Roxy Music and builds on his solo career starting in the
80s. Paul Carrack will be on the NoLimitstage at Hello Festival Sunday June 9th.
